Complete Triangle Problem 1.1

Let a triangle T be subdivided into smaller triangles based on the following guidelines:

• T must have exactly one vertex of each color (RED, GREEN, BLUE).
• If a vertex is positioned on an edge of T, it must be colored using one of the two colors at the ends of that edge.
• The internal vertices of T can be colored in any color: RED, GREEN, or BLUE.

During the subdivision process, there will be a small sub-triangle (an odd number of sub-triangles) that contains one vertex of each color.

In this activity, five points are randomly generated (following the aforementioned rules) on each side of the triangle and another five points (also randomly colored) are produced inside the triangle.

Select any three points to create a white triangle.

The selected points will be connected by a white line.

If the triangle formed comprises vertices of all three colors (RED, GREEN, and BLUE), the game concludes.

No matter the starting configuration, you can always achieve a complete triangle.

Bug:

• If you click on the vertices of the boundary triangle, the game will end.

Proper triangulation is not validated.

Display may appear distorted on smaller screens.
